Experienced Family Law Attorney Job in Seattle
Hire Innovative is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Family Law Attorney who can serve clients across the Seattle area. The employer needs a proven attorney who can take full ownership of a case, communicate well with clients during high-conflict matters, and work with little day-to-day supervision.
This is a full-time, remote day-to-day position. The attorney must live in the Seattle area and commute for court appearances when required.
What You Will Handle
- Own family-law matters from client intake and engagement through negotiation, mediation, hearings, and trial.
- Prepare and argue temporary-orders matters and other contested family-law proceedings.
- Prepare child-support worksheets, discovery, pleadings, and related case documents.
- Guide clients through stressful and high-conflict matters with clear, frequent communication.
- Manage deadlines, case strategy, and approximately 30 billed hours per week with substantial autonomy.
What We Are Looking For
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active Washington Bar admission in good standing.
- At least 10 years of direct family-law experience with independent case ownership.
- Experience taking matters from client intake through negotiation, mediation, hearings, and trial.
- Strong temporary-orders, support-calculation, discovery, writing, and client-communication skills.
- Sound judgment with high-conflict clients and the ability to manage approximately 30 billed hours per week.
