Base salary: $155,000 – $325,000+

The role centers on the ability to analyze complex records and legal frameworks, write persuasively, and guide clients through agency, court, or public-sector processes. About the Role

This position offers intellectually demanding work, meaningful writing responsibility, and exposure to matters with significant public or business impact. Day to day, the person in this position will analyze complex records and legal frameworks, write persuasively, and guide clients through agency, court, or public-sector processes. Responsibilities

  • Research statutes, regulations, precedent, administrative records, and jurisdiction-specific procedure.
  • Draft briefs, motions, comments, submissions, contracts, or advisory materials.
  • Prepare for hearings, appeals, negotiations, investigations, or agency interaction.
  • Explain legal and procedural risk clearly to clients and internal teams.
  • Take ownership of assigned matters and keep clients and supervising attorneys informed about deadlines, risk, and next steps.

Required Qualifications

  • Government, regulatory, appellate, environmental, public-finance, or related litigation experience.
  • Excellent legal research, analysis, and writing.
  • Comfort with detailed records, procedural rules, and complex legal questions.
  • Active or eligible state bar admission for attorney roles.
  • Ability to manage priorities independently and communicate early when a decision or resource is needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the employer’s practice area, matter type, and local court or transaction process.
  • Comfort using modern legal research, document, case-management, or billing systems.
