Base salary: $115,000 – $270,000+

Responsibilities
- Manage divorce, custody, support, property, or related family-law matters from intake through resolution.
- Prepare pleadings, discovery, financial analysis, settlement proposals, mediation, and hearing materials.
- Advise clients directly while maintaining realistic expectations and professional boundaries.
- Coordinate deadlines, court appearances, opposing counsel, experts, and support staff.
- Take ownership of assigned matters and keep clients and supervising attorneys informed about deadlines, risk, and next steps.
Required Qualifications
- Family-law litigation experience appropriate to the role’s level of autonomy.
- Strong client counseling, negotiation, writing, and courtroom preparation.
- Reliable organization across emotional, deadline-sensitive matters.
- Active or eligible state bar admission in the required jurisdiction.
- Ability to use feedback, work effectively with supervision, and take on greater ownership as proficiency grows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the employer’s practice area, matter type, and local court or transaction process.
- Comfort using modern legal research, document, case-management, or billing systems.
- Examples of work completed directly, including the tools, matters, patients, projects, or decisions involved.
