Base salary: $120,000 – $285,000+
Location: El Paso, TX
Employment: Full Time
Work arrangement: On-site or hybrid in El Paso, TX, subject to court, client, deal, and team needs. The exact office schedule will be confirmed before interview.

About the Role

Day to day, the person in this position will move matters through demanding court and commercial processes while protecting client rights, deadlines, and recovery options. The interview process will cover team structure, workload, success measures, and advancement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze claims, collateral, defaults, pleadings, plans, contracts, and available remedies.
• Prepare motions, objections, filings, discovery, settlement materials, or foreclosure documents.
• Advise clients on timing, recovery strategy, litigation risk, and practical resolution options.
• Maintain accurate calendars and case records across state or federal proceedings.
• Take ownership of assigned matters and keep clients and supervising attorneys informed about deadlines, risk, and next steps.

Required Qualifications

• Bankruptcy, creditors-rights, collections, foreclosure, restructuring, or commercial-litigation experience.
• Strong procedural knowledge, writing, and deadline control.
• Practical judgment about recovery, cost, leverage, and settlement.
• Active or eligible state bar admission for attorney roles.
• Ability to manage priorities independently and communicate early when a decision or resource is needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the employer’s practice area, matter type, and local court or transaction process.
• Comfort using modern legal research, document, case-management, or billing systems.
