Hire Innovative is reviewing Bay Area leaders for a confidential C-Suite Healthcare Executive opening in San Jose, CA. Relevant backgrounds can include CEO, COO, CNO, CFO, CMO, CTO, hospital administration, clinical operations, or regional healthcare leadership. The selected executive will own a defined mandate with measurable authority across operations, growth, finance, technology, quality, or clinical performance.
About the Role
This is not a title-only leadership seat. The employer needs an executive who can set priorities, make sound operating decisions, develop leaders, and show measurable progress. The first qualified conversation will cover the organization type, reporting line, team scope, decision authority, performance goals, compensation structure, Bay Area commute expectations, and available flexibility. Candidates receive these details before they decide whether to enter formal interviews.
Responsibilities
- Translate the organization’s priorities into a clear operating plan and measurable outcomes.
- Build alignment across clinical, financial, operational, and board stakeholders.
- Develop leaders, address execution gaps, and establish dependable accountability.
- Balance growth and performance goals with patient care, compliance, and organizational risk.
- Use accurate data and clear communication to improve service, access, financial performance, or team execution.
Required Qualifications
- Leadership experience at a scale and care setting relevant to the mandate.
- Evidence of measurable results, not title progression alone.
- Executive communication suited to boards, owners, providers, and operating teams.
- Judgment across people, finance, compliance, and change management.
- Demonstrated ownership of complex work, sound delegation, and clear communication with clients or leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a regulated healthcare organization or provider environment.
- Comfort with the reporting, workflow, or technology systems used by the function.
- A record of improving results, developing people, or expanding responsibility over time.
