Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Job in Philadelphia, PA

Hire Innovative is conducting a confidential search for a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Philadelphia, PA. This opening supports Greater Philadelphia hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and procedural practices. Clinical Environment

This role provides direct anesthesia care in hospital, ambulatory surgery center, and office-based environments. Clinical assignments can include general surgical and procedural cases. The exact case mix, anesthesia care model, call requirements, and site expectations will be confirmed before an interview.

Responsibilities

  • Complete preoperative, postoperative, and discharge assessments.
  • Review diagnostic information and develop an appropriate anesthetic plan.
  • Prepare the clinical environment, equipment, medications, supplies, and required gases.
  • Manage the patient’s airway, ventilation, and respiratory status.
  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
  • Respond to changes in patient condition with sound clinical judgment.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely anesthesia records.
  • Work effectively with surgeons, physicians, nurses, anesthesia professionals, and facility staff.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nurse-anesthesia program.
  • Current NBCRNA certification.
  • Active RN and advanced-practice licensure for the applicable state, or the ability to obtain it before the start date.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification; PALS when required by the clinical site.
  • Current DEA or controlled-substance registration when required.
  • Ability to provide safe anesthesia care in independent-practice or anesthesia care team settings.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, documentation, and emergency-response skills.

Experience

Two or more years of CRNA experience is preferred for independent-practice assignments. New graduates can be considered for selected hospital anesthesia care team settings when the clinical support model is appropriate.
