Base salary: $75,000 – $195,000+
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Employment: Full Time
Work arrangement: On-site or hybrid in Philadelphia, PA, subject to court, client, deal, and team needs. The exact office schedule will be confirmed before interview.

About the Role
The position offers substantive case ownership, meaningful writing and advocacy, and a clearer path to expanded responsibility. Day to day, the person in this position will develop facts, write clearly, and move civil matters through discovery, negotiation, motion practice, and trial preparation. Responsibilities
- Assess facts, claims, defenses, damages, procedural posture, and client objectives.
- Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, correspondence, and settlement materials.
- Prepare for depositions, hearings, mediation, arbitration, and trial.
- Manage deadlines and communicate practical recommendations to clients and supervising attorneys.
- Take ownership of assigned matters and keep clients and supervising attorneys informed about deadlines, risk, and next steps.
Required Qualifications
- Civil-litigation experience aligned with the practice and seniority of the role.
- Strong research, writing, case organization, and oral communication.
- Practical judgment about strategy, cost, risk, and resolution.
- Active or eligible state bar admission for attorney roles.
- Ability to use feedback, work effectively with supervision, and take on greater ownership as proficiency grows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the employer’s practice area, matter type, and local court or transaction process.
- Comfort using modern legal research, document, case-management, or billing systems.
- Examples of work completed directly, including the tools, matters, patients, projects, or decisions involved.
