Base salary: $125,000 – $310,000+

Day to day, the person in this position will move matters through demanding court and commercial processes while protecting client rights, deadlines, and recovery options. Responsibilities
- Analyze claims, collateral, defaults, pleadings, plans, contracts, and available remedies.
- Prepare motions, objections, filings, discovery, settlement materials, or foreclosure documents.
- Advise clients on timing, recovery strategy, litigation risk, and practical resolution options.
- Maintain accurate calendars and case records across state or federal proceedings.
- Take ownership of assigned matters and keep clients and supervising attorneys informed about deadlines, risk, and next steps.
Required Qualifications
- Bankruptcy, creditors-rights, collections, foreclosure, restructuring, or commercial-litigation experience.
- Strong procedural knowledge, writing, and deadline control.
- Practical judgment about recovery, cost, leverage, and settlement.
- Active or eligible state bar admission for attorney roles.
- Ability to use feedback, work effectively with supervision, and take on greater ownership as proficiency grows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the employer’s practice area, matter type, and local court or transaction process.
- Comfort using modern legal research, document, case-management, or billing systems.
- Examples of work completed directly, including the tools, matters, patients, projects, or decisions involved.
