Responsibilities
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm visits while following provider and service rules.
- Collect accurate patient, referral, insurance, and authorization information.
- Explain preparation, arrival, and follow-up instructions clearly.
- Escalate urgent or complex requests and keep work queues current.
- Use accurate data and clear communication to improve service, access, financial performance, or team execution.
Required Qualifications
- Patient scheduling, medical office, call-center, referral, or access experience.
- Accurate data entry and confident phone communication.
- Ability to manage interruptions without losing follow-up details.
- Professional handling of protected health information and sensitive conversations.
- Ability to manage priorities independently and communicate early when a decision or resource is needed.
