Base salary: $125,000 – $310,000+

Responsibilities

  • Review leases, contracts, title, financing, diligence, notices, project records, or dispute documents.
  • Draft and negotiate agreements, pleadings, correspondence, or transaction materials as the practice requires.
  • Advise clients on risk, timing, remedies, and business consequences.
  • Coordinate with clients, counterparties, agencies, experts, lenders, or courts.
  • Take ownership of assigned matters and keep clients and supervising attorneys informed about deadlines, risk, and next steps.

Required Qualifications

  • Real-estate transactional or litigation experience relevant to the role.
  • Strong document analysis, drafting, and issue spotting.
  • Practical communication with clients and nonlegal stakeholders.
  • Active or eligible state bar admission when the position is for an attorney.
  • Demonstrated ownership of complex work, sound delegation, and clear communication with clients or leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the employer’s practice area, matter type, and local court or transaction process.
  • Comfort using modern legal research, document, case-management, or billing systems.
  • A record of improving results, developing people, or expanding responsibility over time.
