Base salary: $120,000 – $285,000+

Responsibilities
- Evaluate liability, damages, coverage, defenses, and procedural posture.
- Handle pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions, reporting, mediation, and trial preparation.
- Communicate clearly with clients, carriers, insureds, experts, and opposing counsel.
- Maintain a disciplined docket and move matters toward cost-effective resolution.
- Take ownership of assigned matters and keep clients and supervising attorneys informed about deadlines, risk, and next steps.
Required Qualifications
- Insurance-defense, coverage, general-liability, workers-compensation, or related civil-litigation experience.
- Clear written reporting and practical case-valuation judgment.
- Strong deadline, deposition, and case-management habits.
- Active or eligible state bar admission for the role.
- Ability to manage priorities independently and communicate early when a decision or resource is needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the employer’s practice area, matter type, and local court or transaction process.
- Comfort using modern legal research, document, case-management, or billing systems.
